Music Ministry
Parishioners with music abilities are invited to join Music Ministry. Some basic musicianship skills are required; the love of music, the discipline to learn and commitment of faith.
Cantors…those with a good voice and a sense of leadership assist the congregation in sung prayer. The principal role of the cantor is to proclaim the Responsorial Psalm following the First Reading and the other chants of the liturgy.
Choir…rehearses on Sunday mornings from 10:10am to the time of Mass at 11:30am and sings at that Mass as well as the Feasts of Christmas, Holy Week/Easter and other holy days.
Instrumentalists and Accompanists…persons who have a musical talent with an instrument are invited to participate in Music Ministry. Strings and brass can significantly enhance the song of the assembly, the choir and the organ. All instrumentalists are under the direction of the Director of Music and Liturgy.

Ministry of Reader…are men and women who have a strong sense of commitment to proclaim the Word of God at liturgy. Training and resource books are provided to assist Readers in their ministry. View guidelines
